Aria Studio Consultants Inc. delivered this project as a design-build collaboration with Klinger Constructors, creating a cutting-edge manufacturing facility for the Arcosa Wind Towers in Belen, New Mexico. This plant is dedicated to producing structural wind towers, a crucial component of wind turbines that drive renewable energy initiatives. This state-of-the-art manufacturing facility totals 248,232 square feet across two primary structures: Building A (162,232 SF) and Building B (80,000 SF).
The facility features a robust structural steel framework with high-bay manufacturing spaces, overhead crane systems, and specialized production areas designed for large-scale tower fabrication. Our team provided comprehensive construction documents, ensuring precise coordination with the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NM DOT) and state agencies to facilitate efficient infrastructure access, including oversized transport routes for wind
tower components.
This project showcases our ability to deliver detailed drawings and seamless coordination across multiple disciplines, ensuring compliance with state regulations while meeting the client’s operational needs. The plant is expected to create approximately 250 well-paying jobs, reinforcing Belen’s economic growth. This project highlights our expertise in industrial design, large-scale coordination, and infrastructure planning, all contributing to a future built on clean
energy and innovation.
