Aria Studio Consultants supported United Airlines during the post-merger integration of subsidiary Continental (sCO) and subsidiary United (sUA) operations at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport. This initiative required careful coordination between airport authorities, United stakeholders, and multiple operational divisions to unify the airline’s spaces into one streamlined, fully functional environment.
Our scope included architectural updates to the ticket counter, back-of-house ATO support spaces, lower-level operations, and departure gate areas. The project provided improved workflow efficiency for airline staff, enhanced consistency in brand presence, and strengthened wayfinding and passenger experience within the concourse. By aligning the former sCO and sUA footprints into a connected and compliant layout, we delivered a cohesive operational platform that allowed United to serve travelers more efficiently while maximizing use of their leased space.
