Aria Studio Consultants designed a 24,000-square-foot state-of-the-art cultivation facility on Albuquerque’s west side, elevating agricultural operations through highly efficient and sustainable building systems. With optimized structural planning and a forward-looking approach to equipment coordination, the facility is built to support current technology needs while maintaining flexibility for future growth.
A fully integrated CO₂ fertigation system delivers carbon dioxide and nutrients directly to plant roots, improving crop performance while reducing resource waste. Advanced LED lighting with targeted spectrum control further increases yield potential and lowers energy consumption by minimizing heat generation and associated cooling demands.
Mechanical systems were engineered to maintain precise environmental control, ensuring consistent temperature and humidity throughout production spaces. High-performance insulation and passive cooling strategies reduce energy intensity and long-term operational costs.
Sustainability guided the project’s development from concept to execution. Water-conserving strategies—including advanced irrigation solutions and the evaluation of rainwater harvesting systems—respond to the region’s arid conditions and reinforce responsible resource management.
Currently under construction, NM Sol represents the next generation of controlled-environment agriculture, merging technology, efficiency, and adaptability into a single high-performing cultivation environment purpose-built for industry advancement.
