SC3 International Headquarters represents a highly coordinated 6,800 SF 3rd-floor tenant improvement, complemented by a rooftop deck expansion, designed for advanced operations and secure technology integration. Located in the growing Mesa del Sol innovation district, the building required equal attention to performance, aesthetics, and forward-thinking expansion needs.
Aria collaborated closely with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems engineers to achieve seamless system integration. A defining design feature is the custom wood ceiling — a sophisticated architectural element that fully conceals the fire suppression system, maintaining a sleek, uninterrupted design language while meeting stringent safety codes. This solution demanded continuous coordination across disciplines and precise detailing from early concept through installation.
Another key design challenge was maximizing daylight in a constrained site and security-sensitive workplace. Through thoughtful glazing strategies, interior transparency, and optimized spatial organization, natural light extends deep into the building — supporting staff wellness and reducing energy demand without sacrificing operational control.
High-performance materials, integrated technology, and adaptable collaboration zones support SC3’s mission and identity. The result is a secure, efficient, and refined workplace that strengthens organizational culture and supports future operational evolution.
This project was recognized with the prestigious NAIOP 2022 Award of Excellence, celebrating its innovative design, technical execution, and contribution to New Mexico’s commercial development landscape.
